Could I also just ask what everyone has against LEDs on the exterior of the car?

Well i dont mind exterior lighting. Illegal for driving but cool for show. People here they like only slightly subtle mods thats it, but not me lol

No yeah, I completely understand that they're illegal for driving. I'm glad I'm not alone with the exterior lighting though! I genuinely only wanted them to come on when I unlock the car, make it look a bit flash and all

I have small led strips under the door handles... I wired them into the interior light so it came on when I unlocked the car and off when driving and locked it. I then ran the wires on either side down the a pillar, through the rubber pipe going into the door and through the door to a small hole where the hinge is for the handle and stuck underneath the outside handle. Very simple and easy! Door card off job though but all round easy

0.75mm cable can handle 6amps. Led's draw fack all current!

This is bad advice..
I wouldn't use 0.75mm wire for 6amps.. not unless the wire is sub 200mm in length.

There's not much of a picture to take apart from them on under the handle? All the wires are hidden behind panels but that's how it's done lol

I did the above 2 years ago on my old Clio.

Used a waterproof SMD strip light.
