insurance @ 17

Just wondering how much people had to pay for there insurance at 17. The cheapest quote ive found is £1046 tpft on my T reg daewoo matiz, and it would only be £1370.25 fully comp with churchill. Elephant wanted £2300 tptf so i dont think that price is too bad. Can other people give me an idea what they paid at 17, doesnt matter what car.

Thanks.

CIS, £800 fully comp under my mums name, they give a 25% indroductory bonus, which equates to 1 years NCB

about £1000. i would try directline, tesco and elephant was the best for me when i started driving 3 yrs ago

£1380 fully comp (it only came up £40 more than TPFT!) for a mk2 Golf with 15" alloys, 40mm lowered and full system exhaust declaired. that was 3 years ago now but it was £1750 ish before i had pass plus!

Do you know if that was because ur Mum was already a customer?

If they were to that on top of my current discounts that would be very nice indeed :D
