insurance..a clever scam

  E55, KitCar & '85 Quattro

ever sat down and thought about it?

insurance- its the law, uve got to have it, but at the price set by the company. and then uve got excess? wots that all about? ure already paying the insurance company alot of money in the 1st place and then we u crash uve gotta pay out ever moreeee money! then thers NCB, thats a joke too. all that is, is saving the insurance company money bcoz u end up not claiming on ure policy so as to not loose ure precious NCB, so either way- the insurance company wins alot of the time! and then u have protected no claims? ok, so u dont actually LOOSE ure NCB but the insurance company still knows ure making a claim and so will the next company know that uve made a claim. so, their still gonna offer u a deal on wot ure past history is!?!

ok- i understand y i pay more than my dad- thats fair enough bcoz im less experienced ect... BUT my grampa pays about £170 a year or something??? that crazzee. i mean his health and mind is fine, sure, but hes still 77 and is a bit slow on the motorway (tbh its a bit scary going in the car, as he gets a bit of a migrain wen the sun shines in his eyes so while hes fumbling round lookin for his glasses hes drifting from the inside lane to the outside )

but neway- lets see wot the rest of u have to say?

its a good and valid point... best analogy i got which reminds me of what you just said is sky....

you pay a monthly fee for sky channels, gotta pay even more for good channels ie. sky sports, and when theres something actually worth watching i.e. decent boxing match, you gotta pay AGAIN to watch it!!

Insurance companies and sky work together im sure, its a big conspiracy LOL!

yea coz its an inelastic product/service, like petrol everybody needs it and there is no substitutre so basically they get away with what they wana charge

hehe!

cud be. but i think the petrol companies are like the insurance companies, coz they KNOW theyll have demand for it. i mean, ok sure its expensive, but my rents will keep paying for it as will other people. even if they dropped it 5p id still struggle to run my car on the way that it guzzles fuel atm!

unless it went down to usa prices, we wudnt really notice the differnce!

neway- back on topic...

its true, i know some people who would still pay a tenner a litre just to drive their car lol

some people being us!

well maybe not that much, if the price of petrol doubled id still use my car, but only for essential and pleasure instead of every journey possible like i do now!

ive got a £700 mountainbike in beneath all the rubbish in the garage. that soon started to pick up dust a few days after i passed my test!

Road Tolls? Why? We already pay enough in road tax and fuel tax to drive on the roads, so why are some towns now introducing road tolls?

to be honest i dont even look at petrol prices, i just stick £5 or £20 if its a long jounry. coz at the end of the day if i watch the prices like ppl do im gonno start penny pinching. tho im scared one i will look up at its £1 a litre

tbh, if we all drove like chrisitians (lol-james mays words!!!) then wed save alot of fuel

but becoz weve all modded our cars and wanna hear the mods working then we end up driving like wev had a right foot transplant with micheal shoemakka(sp-lol!)

but yeh, insurance is a b**ch eh?

just fraud them i say, coz ull get away with it if u know woture doing!

well at the mo im only TPFT so i can get away with certain mods, because basically they nver check your vechile.

i have a De-cat but my car was registered before 92 so i can get away with that anyway. so its not like anything i have done to my car is illegal as it would all pass the MOT.

stick that up your arse sideways CIS (my insurance company)
