Insurance and warranty

Hey, i am 18 and am fully comp on a 54 clio mk2 phase 2. My insurance cost me £1600 through arnold clark, and since i have begun to modify it. I have 3 years warranty on the car and am tryin not to mess this up. So far ive colour coded it, tinted the windows, fitted rear clusters. I am about to fit 17" alloys and lower the car by -40mm all round within the next few days. anyone know how much my insurance will go up by? alos im hopin to fit a full s/s magnex exhaust system, but i think that might void my warranty so if that voids it would a back box void it as well?? cheers Simon

Your warently is void on any mods if the warently claim can be blamed on the mod.

But Renault dont like getting a bad name and so since Renault have to prove its to blame and the bad PR it would give when its impossible almost to blame on the mod means theyll fix it. I know of whole engine replaced on cars even though they have IK and full exhausts all under warently.

As Edde says Renault in theory are meant to prove the mod caused the problem, however that really does depend on the dealer, as always some are better than others.
