Insurance for 172

Hi there people new to the site as looking for a 172 phs 1 but cant find a good insurance qoute the best i have had is 1600 and thats to much at the min as cant afford it, im 19 with 2 years and no no claims u got any discounts on the site with any compaines or not?

greenlight were competitive for me.

direct line are very good.

£900 for my 172 when I was 20 with 2yrs ncb.

Failing that Greenlight insurance are meant to be very good for performance/modfied cars.

Direct line, greenlight, admiral/elephant, Adrian Flux, Endsleigh, all good companies to try.

I found that Bell were the best for me, 19 with 2 years no claims.
