has anybody got a corsa vxr,clio 197 group 16 cars etc worth 12k at 21 yr old and got insured for under 1500quid, im 21 3yrs no claims 3pts and cheapest i can get is 2900quid with admiral 4 the vxr

Ive gotta 182 ff, im 21, No ncb, no claims or convictions...thats jus over £1500.

i was gettin silly quotes for 197's an VXR's last year, because in most cases the value of the car is doubled.

there was a sticky with loads of insurance phone numbers etc. just work your way down the list.

no point suggesting stuff because location has a major influence.

em y when i have a 172 cup? anyway kwik fit said 1500quid sounds ok just need to find a vxr for 12k intercooler,remap,remus exhaust 250+bhp and torque :evil:

197's are group 15 BTW... i would have though BELL would be your best bet, i'm with CHURCHILL 21yrs 3NCB £687 on a 182 (group 16) fully comp

i quoted random cars last night for next year when i'm 22, with 2ncb etc, and the cheapest i was getting was 920 for a focus RS! it was £100 less then a 197 and £200 less than a 1*2, which i found strange, the focus st170 was the same as a cup and the trophy was more than Leon cupra R.

I got quoted £2500 for an '01 M3 and that was for 21yrs, 3NCB and 3points like you!
