Are you allowed mods under 25 with DL? They've always been a pain with me. Great company apart from that though!

I'm not sure about the under 25 thing, but when I declared a few mods - the only thing they were really interested in is the % of increase of power - 10/20/30 etc.. and that increases the insurance by the same percentage.

That's interesting! They wouldn't even allow me to put genuine VW rims on my polo when I was 17! I told them I didn't care about claiming for them being stolen either, no deal they said!

Dont think so mate. Probs lack of NCB becuase i spent the first 3 years of my driving career as a named driver

yeah same here. i said they are the same as seats you could buy standard from renault (i.e. the trophy seats) and all they were realy worried about was performance mods.
after i got rear ended last year, the valuation guy came out, saw the note on the insurance for seats, said he's not seen them in a non-trophy before, and they looked nice. didnt question them once. and paid out £2500 for repair work.
so either its not relevant, or i got lucky?

Put one of your parents on there as well as 2nd driver. It'll drop a fair bit ...

Bell = Elephant = Admiral btw.

That's sounds like an idea, there's nothing wrong with doing this is there?

I put my Dad on as a second driver, and it went up to £802...

Highway have been best for me the last couple of years. plus they don't increase premium if mods don't increase bhp. And like someone said. adding a parent decreases the quote a fair bit
