Insurance wont allow coilovers or springs :(

Right im with co op, i rang them up to get a price of how much my insurance will go up with coilovers or springs and they said we dont insure cars with mods ? Has anyone else had this problem and did you find a way to get round it ? (with being able to lower the car obv)

i was with co-op unti;l i found this out, they dont insure any mods what so ever and they are strict about voiding insurance. aviva are good for mods, id have a look with them thats who i have now gone with from co-op :) hope this helps

I got bored and was looking at how much it would cost for different mods and it is very cheap and in some cases its free so im happy with them :p

As mentioned above Aviva didn't blink when I had K&N and stainless exhaust, the guy said if it doesn't really make it faster they dont load the premium.

i'm not going to do it but when i was looking on the internet site, i said i had a full bodykit just t6po see how much it went up by, £10.

how long until your insurance is due - that would be the deciding factor as to change companies or not
