hey guys bought insurance for my 133 today with me not turning 19 till 11 march and my two friends in thair 20s on it with thair 3 accidents declaired.Ive been driving for 8 months no accidents etc on a monthly basis its costin £330 i went through so many companies to get online quotes elephant, compair the market tiger go compair and and quite a few others pretty much quoting £4000 so i came accross admiral where they offerd me a quoth for £2,700 so i took it was that the right thing to do? :S any ideas where id get a cheaper quote cheers guys:approve:

im getting quoter 4k for myself on it and for sum reason my dad on it goes up aswell so it feels like im over a barrel regardless ano my age is the biggest part of i just not sure where to go ive got limited ppl to put on it aswell so it seems i cant win :S any suggestions where to look for cheeper? cheers

EDIT: I'd say your pretty much fooked if even Elephant are giving you ridiculous prices, they'll insure me now on my 172 @ 19 for 1300 quid.

i would but i dont have any 1 to do that ive got my mates gf on it but she has had an accident and i dont have any 1 else to do that my mum doesent drive and i have 4 brothers

Its me thats on the policy, for some reason his old man causes the premium to go up and the cheapest quote was with me and my gf as the named drivers on the policy. all my accidents were 2007 and only 1 fault hence why theres no big jump in price.

Honestly mate for £330 a month your off your nut to pay that, its almost money for a mortgage

thats the cheapest 1 i could find mate they where all quoting 4k so i seen that and i thought am i gna get any better ano the price is shockin scary to think its mortgage terratory but 8 months driving no claims bonus i didnt think i could get any better after a whple night lookin at company after ccompany

You're looking at mainstream companies on the whole though, who will always be expensive at your age with claims on the policy, even if they are to other drivers.

Have you tried any specialists? Although I'm not sure on alot of their age restrictions...

I'd rather walk than pay £2700 for a Twingo 133. They're not even fast, good cars but hardly worthy of a £2700 insurance premium.

It annoys me paying £1300 for my 172 at 19.
