Interior Leak

Here in sunny sheffield it has been raining now for a week and on my way home this evening i felt a drip on my left hand which was on the gear knob. After a good inspection it was coming from around the edge of the interior light housing.

Does anyone know how to stop/improve this and why it is happening??

No, my mates mk 1 did, this is a mark 2 ph2

As said depends on the car but probably something like the sunroof seal.

Edit: Probably the seal then, at a guess.

Or possible winscreen? but more likely to be sunroof.
