interior light

im new to this I have just got a clio sport 52 reg .....ive just taken the interior light out, cos there is a noise when you turn the ignition on,there is a little black thing in there that has a little fan in it......what is this also can I just disconnect it.....thanks

It's the sensor for the climate control, they all make noise unfortunately.
