Been trying to fix my uncles computer last few days, basically he has AOL wireless internet, all has been working fine etc... but recently... you can sign on with AOL and browse the internet using there software browser, but if I try to use Internet Explorer... the webpage just loads a white screen and in status bar says "website found waiting for reply" but it just stays like this forever and doesnt load a page.
First thing I done was to update spybot and adaware and ran them both, it found quite a lot of rubbish which I then removed, also done a full AVG system scan found a few things and then removed them, but still no luck.
Goin back around there in about 30 minutes to try to solve it! any ideas guys?
I dont fancy reformating computer (even though it is full of crap and is running so slowly)
Maybe gonna try re installing AOL software.
Apart from that any ideas guys n gals?
