As above really, I know theres loads out there but which would you use for a reliable reading for download/upload speed tests?

Got a new provider, replaced the modem so need to test it.

Well thats the thing, you will find that most methods for checking your speed online is un-reliable. Downloading via a newsgroup is a good way of testing your connection.
