Introduction To Detailing - Number 3 - Sunday 4th November

I have spoken to Phil, he has said he would love to run a 3rd day for us, and we have settled on a date of Sunday 4th November.

We have also spoken about the areas we want covering and he is fine with that.

As per, the day will be quite fluid, so we can cover anything, within reason, but the main bulk of the day will be based on:

- Wheels (cleaning & protecting) & Arches (cleaning and protecting).
- Interior cleaning and protection.
- Some time on rotary polishing, aimed specifically good technique, not how to burn through!

I would suggest it could be pretty cold in the unit, so wrap up warm

Interior cleaning, wheel and window sealants, and different QD types / uses?

We've probably got past the good weather for now so exterior washes etc could possibly be out of the window. Although testing different shampoos could be good.

Also as said via pm its good for a chat and group discounts!

Sounds like a good plan. If we can be specific for Phil it'll make the day far more beneficial for everyone.

Remember to bring cash on the day too. You'll get a sizeable discount.

Arrived an hour and a half late on the last one, saw C1 cure and a strange coloured BMW.

Need to take back my Brinkmann so I'll be up for this one, whatever happens.

I think wheels and arches would be a good topic, cleaning, polishing, sealing.

I went over to see these guys a few weeks ago and they were great did me a nice little deal to. I'll try and come but I'll more than likely be working I'll have to see them in the week! Just need some time to wash my car for once.

Wheels/Arches sounds good, also Engine Bay. Possibly sealants and dressings for each.

Nope, it's battery powered - used it probably 3 times, came to use it the other day and one of the LED's has dulled!

Engine was done poorly last time, tbh for that it needs someone who has done a clio engine and knows exactly what to cover up etc instead of someone saying, well you can do this or this or this etc.

Personally for me as said doing the interior and wheels/ arches would be good.

Yup. He offered me the 28th Oct, but there is a Go-Karting meet on that day, so we agreed on the November date.

Phil also has a spray shop being setup there, not entirely sure what for, as I didn't know they did anything with paint other than correct it.

Anyway, he said it would be ready for when we have our day there.

We'll all be thinking about sealing our wheels in for the coming months, so it should be very current
