Now, every Clio I've ever driven has had a very good ESP system, where it doesn't cut in when not needed and doesn't hinder progress in the slightest. I've had my Trophy for a few weeks now, and its system is really, really intrusive. What could it be? The dampers are requiring a refurb, but surely this won't be the cause of the ESP cutting in too much.
It's got to the point where I'm turning the ESP off every single time I drive it, as it really does cut in a ridiculous amount!
