iOS "must have" apps

Epic, just downloading, notice there are IAP though but from the looks of it, seem reasonable.
 
Or try reading the instructions...

Tells you how to repair, reset your car, pause etc just before the game starts! 2 finger tap resets car!
 
Played Carmageddon to death when I was younger! Now completely addicted again on iOS. F*cking BRILLIANT!

It is indeed, I was a very very naughty boy who put up an individual post for it when it should have been in here. ;)

Plays just as well as the original but looks shinier than I recall on my old PC.
 
Been playing the gog.com original version, got it free when i donated to the reincarnation kickstarter campaign. Looks proper ace with the 3dfx wrapper in 1920x1080 :D yet to play the app but it looks ace from what ive seen, still super addictive and a game very much ahead of its time expecially on phsyics.
 
Its got a massively annoying bug. This has happened 3 times now for me on my Ipad, just looses the save game. I got up to level 22, spent ages playing, close app, go back in a few hours later and the save game has vanished! Checking reviews on Appstore, seems a lot of people are having a similar problem. Very annoying!
 
It's awesome, been playing it all day! Fits perfectly with the apps upgrading type games. The controls adapt well to.

Makes me want to get Carmageddon 2 for pc :)
 
Randomly Carmageddon lost my saved game so having to start again. Bit pants as I'd got loads of good cars haha. Oh well, still awesome! :)
 
Yeah happened to me in level 40, I read if you exit out and restart it it should be there but I'd already started a new game.

Managed to mow down everyone on the second level, that was brutal!
 
Lost my game save from Carmageddon last night. Gutted tbh.

Sooner it gets updated the better.
 
Got to number one rank last night, hope my game doesn't disappear again :(

That car which zaps the pedestrians is awesome!
 
CARMAGEDDON: Save file deleting.

If this happens, do not start a new game. Go back, close it down (completely) and start it back up... Should be there :)
 
My must have app has got to be Camera+. Its an amazing photo editor :D

So it made it HDR.... When there is already an option to do that when you took the pic....

Its not HDR at all. HDR is just making the darker and lighter bits of the picture stand out. My Camera+ edit has alot more going on than that.

Really? That isn't HDR? s**t being a photographer for the past 7 years I must be fully wrong on a photo effect that is clearly HDR.

hdr is not "just making the darker and lighter bits of the picture stand out" it's taking the same image 3 times at a stop above and below (or more) of a balanced exposure of an image, then combining the shadows and highlights with the original image to give the effect of the image above.

Yes I know that but I was just simplifying it. Yes there is a bit of HDR in there but as i said there is more to it than that i.e. using filters not just HDR. Plus this app is so much better than iPhone's HDR effect.
 
I think it looks like a HDR pic aswell but I know it's not as iv also used camera+. Personally I think the app is crap and deleted it. I downloaded True Skate the other night. Very good game. Just needs more parks.
