iPad Mini to HDMI Cable

Hi Guys,
Is this cable what I need to connect and iPad Mini to the HDMI connection and stream CartoonHD website to the tv?

I have Apple TV but this is for my parents and I'm reluctant spending £100 on another when the website could be taken down at any point, They will not use the other aspects of ATV enough should the website go down

if your ipad mini has the lightning port then yes. Obviously you will also need an hdmi cable

I was just worried about it not working with the website, Few reviews say about limited compatability

When you say 'the cable and their tv' do you mean you want the Apple TV as well?

If so, there's no need to get the cable


Also. £40 for a cable?! Put another £20/30 to that and get an atv3 off eBay.
