What have people gone for?

We already have a fancy laser printer and a multifunction inkjet but neither are AirPrint compatible. I've done the AirPrint hack on my MBP but it's not practical it having to be on whenever I want to print.

So don't need anything special, just cheap as it'll only be used for documents/web page print offs

I have got an app called Printer Pro which works with any WIFI enabled printer or printer plugged into router.
I'm not sure on the prices of AirPrint printers, but if you can get just a wifi enabled printer cheaper it may be worth considering.

It also has something called "e-printing" which let's you email your printer with whatever you want to print!

Yep, I've got a HP wifi printer and it works well with my iPad 1

Think the pc world one is probably worth paying an extra £30 for.

I'm undecided what to do now though, when I get an imac it'll never get turned off so can just use the hack on that. Will wait for the WWDC in a weeks time and decide then. Might even change the airprint to support all networked printers then.

I bought that one and with a quick update to the firmware it was AirPrint ready...

Not bad with £40 cash back from HP (I claimed mine back) so its effectively £90 for a decent HP Business Printer
