Yes 24 months. I had a friends and family discount on my account but I got a further 20% as my friend works for the NHS and he has got a code. If you know a student or anybody who works for the NHS you can get 20% off.

This isnt a bad price for a 12 with 100GB.
Works out at £36 per month

To be totally honest I don't even need it but I refuse point blank to do what everyone else at work has done and that is use there work phone as a personal phone.
Plus the the iPhone 11 Pro from work is only 64gb🙈

FaceID surely isn't viable any more, whatever happens a lot of people will continue to wear masks from now on.

I'm hoping the 12 pro is launched soon enough that we see some deals on black friday like we did with the XS, not holding my breath though.

I was thinking about taking my photo with a mask to see if it would recognise me!

Not massively, considering I work in the tech industry a phone is a phone to me for the most part.

It’s only really the camera aspect that’s given me the want to ‘upgrade’, pretty much everything else I can take or leave.

Screen is bigger which is useful for some things, but then sometimes things look a bit like those phones for old people with the massive buttons and things look too big and chunky

As for the touch/Face ID thing, I still just use a pin anyway (!) so it’s here nor there for me!

At the moment I’m a bit ambivalent on the change, the camera seems a big step up in quality and night mode when testing last night was very good, but other than that I’m not really wowed or have the feeling when I went from a 5s to an 8.

The size doesn’t help, it feels a bit chunky and awkward, whilst on the old 4/5 models I loved the squared edges picking up my 8 now it just feels nicer in the hand.

Decision for me now is do I stick with this, or try the mini when released and see if it still stacks up with the lesser camera stuff.

The lack of telephoto lens isn’t probably that big a deal for me, but the lack of lidar to help focusing, night mode potraits etc could factor in.

As in my opening line and my use of a pin still, I’m a bit of a luddite when it comes to phones, never really been one for having the latest and greatest

I’ve changed from an 8 plus to a 12 pro. The 8 plus was easier to use one handed. Going to change to the mini I think and manage with out the telephoto lens.

No, ordered from John Lewis and was just lucky I guess, they had everything but the blue models left in stock when I looked.

I wish they’d find a way to reimplement it.
