Hi all, I've turned the Bluetooth on, on my new iPhone 4 but it doesn't wanna connect or even pick anything up! Just keeps saying searching...

Anyone else had this or know how too correct this?

I've tried several phones Inc. An iPhone 3GS, and two computers!

It doesn't even come up with no devices found...just keeps searching

What are you trying to achieve?

The iPhone only supports hands free, phone book and a2dp profiles as standard.

I've got a similar problem! Trying to connect my iPhone 4 to my Head unit, Sony MEX- BT3600U...

Just says searching? Finds nothing no matter what the Head unit is displaying...

PLEASE HELP!! THANKS :)

You need to pair it while its in the device selection screen. Then it will work.

So

  1. Settings
  2. General
  3. Bluetooth (make sure its on)
  4. Leave it on that screen and dont do anything
  5. Pair from the headunit.

On the head unit you need to hold in the BT button until the Bluetooth logo starts flashing slowly, this puts the stereo in pair mode.

Then do as above.
