They use the same systems over the phone and its having the same problems.

Bit off topic - New Mac Mini has been part of the update too.

It just worked for me..

Would it make you feel any better if I told you I just got another order in so now have 2 32gb Iphones pre-ordered :P

Is there much chance that the Networks will sell them slightly cheaper on PAYG? I cannot see them doing so but am a bit loathed to order and then find Orange doing them for £40 less locked to Orange!

Are the ones on the Apple site sim free and unlocked? If so then, it's pretty likely the networks will sell them slightly cheaper.

MY Macbook I bought in the US had a worldwide warranty. Maybe it does not Apply to phones.

That is some serious cash. I will take the upgrade offer. Hopefully the price on 300 tariff (£35pcm) will be less than £300

No, I know that up to now iPhones have only had warranty within the country of purchase. To stop people going abroad to get the unlocked handsets I presume.

No point in me spending £600 on a phone, then a month later moving abroad and losing all that warranty.

Chris, I swear you said 'come on Apple, £580 waiting here' in this thread!! ;)

£600 is a bargain.
