iPhone 4 sleep wake button stuck

Today my sleep wake button on my iPhone 4 has decided it wants to randomly not work. It no longer recognises being pressed so I cannot lock the phone using it so have had to use auto lock. Also cannot switch the phone off either now.

Anyone experienced this? Looks like its going to be a 50mile trip to Apple

Moyles was moaning about this the other morning. I think he said something about pinching it somewhere.

It's happened to my mates phone too, just have to press the button really hard.

Button just completely unresponsive now. Have tried pinching it out but just falls back down.
Off to Apple at the weekend!

Happened to mine a few weeks ago
I've had the same one since release day and that's the only problem I've had, was gutted.

Took it to Apple and they passed me a new one. No questions asked.
