I'm just sticking with Tesco PAYG, £15 a month, triple credit, 5000 texts free, £7.50 1GB data bundle.
The remaining £7.50 I have leftover just builds up and I use it when I'm abroad!

Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9

Same here, was tempted by the potential extra £30, and them saying that very minor damage would only be 10% anyway, which knocks it back to £270.

Mazuma are a very easy company to deal with!

Can I do this and then try and sell privately in between? I'm not contract bound to send it to them am I?

Just pre-ordered for £25 my 16GB in black as in upgrade with orange, shame I'm working a 14 hour shift on launch day so gunna have to wait until Saturday to collect it :(

Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9

The iPhone 5's LTE doesn't operate at the 2 frequency bands that OFCOM are auctioning off (the ones Vodafone & o2 are looking at getting and launching 4G on).

There's a possibility they could both be allowed to refarm one of their 3G bands to use 4G instead (not likely to happen for a while), or OFCOM could force EE to let them use their's (unlikely).

o2 already have a decent 3G network though, capable of running at 41mbps, and are launching DC-HSDPA soon that's even faster. EE's 4G network will only run at 21mbps to start with.

Worth bearing in mind, although not many people will require that level of speed anyway.

They'll be working the market like they always try to.

Figured out why i had 29GB data useage from December too!! When we moved in May we had no internet for a month... think my phone was rinsed constantly by myself and the misses during this time!!

Yeah the info I passed on regarding o2 above is interesting, too.

Friend and I were chatting the other night with regards to service providers, not in so many words but when you see 'Tesco Mobile' on the top of the phone it ruins the 'look'.

I decided on black when debating at work and the camp guy (although straight) in the office suggested white was a bit gay.

If he's saying it, I'm definitely going black.

12 month contracts FTW

24 should be illegal then again the iPhone 5 will easily last two years.

Not with Orange you aren't. Think you may be with Mazuma.

SO what are people's best finds with regards to pay monthly?

One thing that's holding me back is choosing what Network has the best signal for my location. All the coverage sites say they all have excellent signal, when they don't.

Am I right in thinking there's very few 18 month contract this time around? All of O2's look like 24 months!!

Sim free is the way to go!!

Ordered mine anyway.

T Mobile - Black 32GB - £36 a month with 2000 minutes, unlimited messages and data.

Will most likely sell the handset in 12 months, and upgrade with a handset only.

Aren't those PAC codes?

Mine is valid from O2 for the next 30 days

Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9

£20 O2 simplicity works out more than contract:

£20 x 24 + £600 - £1080
£26 X 24 + £350 - £974

Re: iPhone 5. Pre-Orders 14/9. Ships 21/9. iOS6 19/9

Is tethering included on Orange?

It's not in the Tmobile deal's so I'd imagine Orange could be the same.

Edit - Not in the £36 a month deal, with unlimited data. It is in other deals.

Did you buy the phone outright?
