It's really easy, little bit of sand paper on the back to thin it down. Then use the template you can download to mark it, cut it with sharp scissors or a knife and it's done!

Fair enough. Well even so, I can't really justify the ~£450 cost right now. So I'll hang fire for now. Given my limited use of my phone I'm really not arsed.

I still haven't received my confirmation e-mail from Orange, even though I paid on Friday. :S

I received the confirmation email a few hours after placing the order/paying. Also with Orange.

I've not received any confirmation from carphone warehouse, orange or O2 about my orders which were placed Friday morning. Also waiting on local O2 store to collect my nano-sim

Finally sorted my contract details out. Bought the phone direct from Apple on release day, still have an O2 contract that I will be cancel early due to poor reception.

Just chose a 12 month £10.50 deal with orange. They are unable to issue me a nano sim until release day so I just ordered one through O2 until I'm set up on Orange, then I wil cancel O2.

Popped into an o2 shop yesterday and picked up 2 nano sims so they are out there...

If you did this online it probably didnt go through. I placed an order on Friday which failed, and on Saturday which failed. Rang them yesterday and they told me there systems were messing up. so ordered over the phone

Cool. Anyone know for certain what the nano sim situ is on upgrades? Does it come in the iPhone box and I call to change number over?

You wont get a nano sim with the actual iPhone i.e in the box. If your upgrading then you will get one from your carrier.

I've spoken to a really helpful guy at orange, He said he can't say when it'll be sent out, but, He is going to look at my account on friday, and drop me a message/phone call with my eta of the phone He did say that, because I was one of the first to order(Before 10am) He suspects(only suspects, Not gospel) I will be the first batch thats sent out. Hope so!

You will have to do a sim swap. With O2 you can either do it online, via text or over the phone I believe. I presume most carriers can also do it in store.

Its the replacement for the old connector. People are buying them as multiple cables require for work etc.

Well as per my photo the lighting cable is the new connector for the iPhone 5. Current cables won't fit into the phone unless used with an adapter.

Same. I'm quite content with my 4 and paying £10 a month with GiffGaff.

Yup, I'm now on a £12.90/month deal with Three, plenty of minutes and texts and unlimited data. Done.
