iPhone 5.

I keep getting my ear vibrated off when I'm on the phone and can't work out how to turn notifications off while i'm on the phone, Can anyone shed any light? I have searched the thread but to no avail

Im sure the screens will come down in price after a few more months but I was gobsmacked they were that much.

And thats without me charging them for doing it ,although im really not sure why they dont go through insurance.

I don't think they'll drop that much tbh. You're paying for the whole screen now not just a digitiser that can be made for pennies

Ok slight issue weigh the iPhone.

My do not disturb function is on and set between 12am and 6am.

Problem is that it's on now? :/ and won't go off unless I turn off do not disturb?

I haven't check the thread as I'm on lunch with s**t signal.

Just realised mine has done that as well! But I have a 4S.

Sounds like it's affecting loads of people, hope they fix it, it's very annoying. I only noticed when I read this thread and checked my phone!!

Its not an issue, if you have do not disturb turned off, the scheduled do not disturb still switches on at the scheduled time.

I can buy a 4 or 4s screen and digitizer for under £20.

Good spot, but why only now has this issue started?

I've turned it off now with reschedule on and it's gone.

It is an issue, I have to switch it off every day.

It is (or was) a very useful function, I don't want to have to stop using it, I don't get why it's suddenly screwed up.

Yep, I found it really useful too, not just for use at night, if in a meeting it's easy enough to manually toggle it.

It will, its a bizarre unix bug. Quite interesting really.

You could just change the date manually if you want it to work. (but it will be the wrong day obviously)

Just read up on it actually.

Seems next year we will have the same problem, and it is not going to be an easy fix at all.

Lol .. Erm no. There are a million free apps that do the same thing.

This is a very comprehensive home cinema AV type app. It is all about home automation.

I.e I press watch tivo and it does a string of commands

1) turn on TV
2) change TV to HDMI 3
3 turn in TiVo
4) set tivo onto live TV

For example.

Those using AV relievers will find it fantastic

Mines been spot on mate, faultless. Bring a sort of anti iPhone person I would never get any other phone tbh, however good they are. Don't ask me why, it just feels good, a bit sad I know lol

My current 4 has a really good build quality. My concern would be that I'd get a 5 and it would develop a fault.

Never had any other iPhone mate so can't comment. Build quality seems spot on tbf. Suppose it's like any mass produced product most good, some not so. From what I've read on here if for any reason it goes wrong they give new ones out like sweets lol

My lock button rattled from day one. I ignored it tho as it worked fine. Clearly was dodgy from the start I realise now.

The casing is definitely softer than previous IPhones, I can actually scrape the anodised bit off with a fingernail ...? It's way too soft.

Haven't had any problems with my 5, other than the 30-pin/Lightning adaptor not working with any of my stuff (but that's not the fault of the phone per se).

Stuck it in a case and slapped a screen guard on within 5 minutes of the box opening so the casing is fine, from what I've read the exterior finish is the worst part of the phone.

Are there any docks out yet for the iPhone 5?

Think it may be time for me to book a genius appointment. My lock button decided it was going to stop working properly two days ago, its irritating me already.
