Iphone/ipad To Tv adaptor

Just got a cheap adaptor so i can use Cartoon HD onto the Tv,it all works but trouble is the screen size is not full screen,anyone else have this problem?.ive tried the settings on the Tv but no luck

Yep, tried for ages the other day to change it. Don't think it's possible.

I use an apply lightning to hdmi adaptor with MovieBox in full screen HD no problem.

Would have thought CartoonHd would be the same?

Just get Apple TV 2 for about £80. I got one last week and it's the b****cks.

I have the same trouble with my Nexus 5. Shows the 3 menu buttons at the bottom of the screen (sideways when plugged in)
It's not too bad but I'd rather it not be on there. (using carton hd)

I just turned the phone to landscape an it corrected it on my tv ?

Doesn't the iGadget prevent output to TV for some apps?
For instance you can't output Sky Go to a TV, airplay or by cable.

Strange I've bought the genuine adapter Aswell if that makes a difference but I can use cartoon hd with no problems what so ever

You did well gettting an ATV2 for that price! they normally fetch £200ish! Sure it's not ATV3?
