Just updated to the new iPhoto from the mac app store. All seemed fine. Says it has to upgrade the database of photos. So it begins to do this but then stops at about only a 1/5 of the progress bar, the spinny dial freezes and the iPhoto program crashes.
I have another account on the laptop for the mrs so went into her iPhoto and updated her database fine. took about 2 minutes. So clearly not an iPhoto issue.
So I presume it must have an issue with a file in my iPhoto database?
Any ideas? Reckon best idea is back up the current photos onto an external HD and then delete them all from the macbook and try importing them through iPhoto? Where would i find all my saved photos?
