Ipod car docking kits...

AAARRRGH!

My bloody new car has a stereo built-into the dash, and there's NO way of installing my DVD/MP3 head unit.

I need a kit that'll fit onto an 06 Toyota Avensis T3s, so that it can run off the stereo.

Any ideas anyone? :S

I've already got an Itrip FM docking widget thingy.

It works well as long as you're not doing a long distance (radio frequencies tend to change with geograhpy), so in the middle of a journey one needs to re-tune both the itrip & stereo.

I'm thinking of a proper dock, which enables the ipod to be used as a CD changer... only I need some recommendations.




There's PLENTY of choice for my Sony head-unit, however, I'm stuck with this built-in sh*te. :S

There's usually a way of tricking the h/u into thinking there's a changer attached, and just use the audio pins to connect a 3.5mm jack.

I purchased a lead off ebay, 3.5mm plug into the AUX in the 182 head unit.
