ipod link for Cabasse stereo

  Cupped 182 with Recaros
Looking into the best way to listen to my ipod in the car, FM transmitter is an obvious choice but I have seen a few places online selling an ipod link for the standard stereo in the 182, meaning you can connect it direct and control it all from the steering wheel controls.

Anyone here got one of those connections? Is it any good? Expensive?

Thanks

I have one of the FM transmitter ones and I wouldnt recommend it at all, not even to my mother!

yeah, ive got a griffin FM transmitter & it's not very good, only works when it feels like it which isnt often. Some sort of direct link would be far better.

I have got a connects2 aux in adaptor the sound is good but you need to change tracks on the mp3 player plugs into the cd changer port and its only £50

I went for the Dension Ice Link Plus in mine. Plugs into the CD changer port so not FM based and can be controlled from the headunit & stalk, needs only one cable, no hardwiring and comes in a number of dock/cable options when it comes to installation. Had it just over 12 months now and is a worthwhile mod if you want to keep the factory set up.

Worth a quick search on Dension as that and the Connects ones are the most popular option on here and have been discuused a fair bit on here.
