Ipod mini help!

Mate has just bought one for hubby to use, bloke who sold it to her said she didn't have to use itunes to download music onto it?

So we have transferred stuff as normal and nothing show's in the songs list, athough you can see them when it's plugged into the laptop?

What's going wrong?! :S

I think you do need to use iTunes?

It's probably easier to do that anyway??

Yes you will need to use iTunes. As said, it's very easy to use.

There are alternatives to iTunes but they're generally not very good.

You cant just drag and drop though.

ITunes will import all music files stored on the HDD so that playlists can be created for use on the IPod.
