Is a driveshaft target ring an ABS ring?

Hi guys colleague at work has had the ABS + service light come on on his Mk2 DCI. Reno have diagnosed it as:

REP Report: traced to failed N/S driveshaft...............£0.00
LAB Traced to failed N/S driveshaft target ring

Assuming the driveshaft target ring is the abs ring?

They've quoted him £400 (lol) to replace the driveshaft. Can a new ring be heated on?

yes its the abs ring.

As above, also know as a abs rotor.
