Is it possible that a newly fitted LED buld could drain a battery in 24hrs??

as title really, fitted a new LED number plate bulb yesterday..... today (approx 24hrs later) battery was completely flat, dead as a dodo! even took about 6 or 7 mins of jump leads to give it enough juice to start!

could this be linked or is the battery just f'd

Did you see if the light stayed on the whole time ?

no was off when sidelights were out.
