W wristel Car Ckio Sport, 9-5 Aero Mar 3, 2013 #6 Re: is it possible to change the lamda sensor without taking down the exhaust on 172 got i off with a ring spanner that was cut off in the middle and a 40cm metalpipe on that!! i think ill have some muscle soreness in the morning... the car has a much smoother idle now after changing the lamda sensor.. hopefully it will past the MOT to! thanks for all tips and tricks!!
