Is my 172 DODGY

HI all.

My year old 172 with 21500miles has so far been in to Renault for:

service light on- oil sensor replacing- engine coolant leak- replaced water pump- middle section of exhaust replaced-told front discs are badly worn and corroded and need replacing.

This is not what i expected when i bought a new car.Renaults explanation-

"Well mate it is an import"

Going back through the service history, my 16v had loads of problems within the first 20k miles (including new lambda sensor, brake discs, catalyst and various niggly bits). But, apart from entirely reasonable mechanical wear and tear, the random problems seemed to stop there - and the car has been fairly free of little problems in my car since then.

Once the problems are sorted, they generally stay that way - but the only way to find out is to keep the car for another eight years like mine!
