Is the 172 Cup supposed to have a Spare Wheel?

my spare Turini has a 205 fitted and, whilst it fits in the well fine, it's a little too tall, so the boot board is raised a little - not a problem to me (and i use the boot daily).

i think i paid £40 for the wheel and picked up a scrap (but undamaged and legal) tyre from a tyre depot - fiver to fit it and away you go.

don't know what kind of fit the 15" steel wheels are (re. ^) but a 185/55/15 is more-or-less the same rolling radius as a 195/45/16.

So therefore if I fitted a regular 195/45/16 to a turini that'd do the trick and not raise the boot floor.......?? Think this may be the best choice for me.......and it does mean if I get a puncture my first stop doesnt have to be a garage.......it'll last indefinately and I can fix the spare at my leisure........time to search for turinis now :rasp:

not sure - it might well still raise the boot floor. it's not really that bad though. you could try removing one of your wheels and putting it in the boot to check it out
