I was sat behind an 07 plate one back in march, and he planted his right foot and it just took off!!

They are very quick but not a sleeper.

335 indicates a big hefty 3.5 litres straight six, you know its going to be quick when you see the badge :approve:

Isn't it the same with the 535d, being a 3.0 but with a small and large turbo??

But those 335's are awesome.

I had a 330d for a whole day test drive last week, and i must say i was very very impressed in comparison to my current M3. Straight line pace for a diesel was outstanding, it just pulled like a train from any rev range.

Obviously the handling wasnt quite as sharp as the m3, but a very very good car. Looking at the post remap specs of the 335d it makes me wonder if i want the new m3 afterall.

Its funny how the 335 gets the same quoted time as the new v8 m3.wonder how fast the new M3 will actually be

I was behind one of these on the motorway! Fook me, he either dropped a gear, or just planted his foot (god knows what gear he was in), it went from being directly in front of me, to about 300 m in about 3 secs! Stupidly quick cars. I'm seriously impressed with the diesel variant.

Tys.

yeh the 335 cab is super nice....why is everyone putting m3 wheels on beemers now? saw a z4 with 18" m3 rims the other day, looked naff.

that v8 is sexual. and the robot delivery seatbelt is the COOLEST gadget ive seen in a car yet . haha

If its what i think it is then the Mercedes SLK AMG has had one for years.

When you get in car it pulls seatbelt out to you so you dont have to reach behind

  1.6 Astra ... R.I.P. 182
coz the M3 is going to be £55,000.

theres only 300 M3's coming to the uk for the first 12 months and theres a 2.5 yr waiting list.
someone i know has got one coming in red with the carbon fibre roof. had his name on the waiting list for 32months.
