Is there a fuse for the volume control stalk?

As above really? I cannot for the life of me fathom out why this wont work!? If there is a fuse is it any of these....?

i doubt there is a fuse just for the stalk

i'd say fucked electronics inside stereo or fucked stalk it is french after all

Use your left hand to change the volume and move on with life? Have you checked its plugged into the back of the display correctly? Both plugs?

I expect it will be worn out mate - it only rubs against a piece of metal, like a heater resistor does - you can take it apart (only a few screws) and tighten it up, or buy another from another member - you can normally test it by pushing it hard in different directions to try to make it contact
