is this a 172 plenum or 182 plenum any1 know?

They do look the same but I think the bolt spacing is slightly different...

that i beliveve is a 182 plenum mate the 172 has the coil pack plate all as one part the 182 is bolted on

Me neither, to confuse things more that part number on it is the same as the 172mk1 plenum. Did renault just modify there existing tooling and not bother changing the number?

its a 172 plen, 182's have 2 breathers at the back of it

just looked at my 182, the breathers are in yellow Things we do

so as above it looks like the one you've posted pics on is for a 172.

Your right Daz . The part number on the 182 plenum is 8200 313 308 RB

Must be 172. The 182 doesn't have the breather on the bottom IIRC.

both identical apart from the extra breather on the back of the 182.

and the 182 has the mounting on the back in a slightly different place.

can't see why using a 172 manifold on a 182 would be a problem though anyone else know if this is an issue?

Afaik , the manifolds are the same on the mk2 172's and the 182's . Its the plenums that are different and are not interchangeable .

are you sure as mines got a 172 plenum on a 182 done 500 miles now with no problems
