Is this is 55-200mm lens I should get for my D40x?

Pretty new to this game (DSLR), but i'm needing a bit more zoom for my Nikon D40x. Only got the standard 18-55mm lens that came with it.

I don't need anything mega pricey.

Not had the pleasure of any IS lenses on my Canon but I'd say its worth it if your shooting non-moving objects in low light situations yeah... it's also probably a newer revised design with better optics...
