Is this normal for a 182

[CDC182]

Apologies if this seems a daft question but being a mechanical novice I would like some confirmation.

Now I know when the weather gets cold, you expect to see some smoke out the exhausts but I have noticed in my 182 that even when it has warmed up, when I put my foot down I get a cloud of smoke out the rear. This only seems to happen after the revs hit 5K and it makes a right mess of my Rear Window as it is completely covered in condensation.

I am sure drivers behind will not be happy but if it is normal then I can breathe a sigh lof relief and not have to mess with the Renault Dealership Circus.

I think I read on here its quite common. I once booted on to the motorway and thought my engine had blown.

Just pretend it didnt happen and everything will go away.......................

completley normal its just due to the time of year, it wont do it in the summer once the engines warm

It is most probably down to a build up carbon deposits in the exhaust system.

If you spend alot of time sat in traffic in town/cities it slowly builds up, then when you go hairing off down the motorway and you get to use all 7,000 revs or so, it all comes belching out the back.

Completely normal.

you been sampling Lees collection of adult movies ?

yeah white smoke from the exhaust is usual, for some reason it seems to build up loads of condensation, when you boot it you cant see f**k all out of the back at times, totally coats the rear screen with moisture too.
