Itb coil pack bracket. Breather ??? What have you got???

  172 cup
As some of you might have seen I am building my own inlet. I am looking to fabricate a coil pack bracket similar to the ones used on the Itb kits. My questions are what do you seal the oval breather with when you fit the aluminium brackets?

Also do any of you guys have any good pictures of the brackets? Showing how you sealed it.

Oval breather doesn't need to be sealed as it's the inlet for the carbon cannister purge line to the original plenum.

I have some oil round this is this normal?? I don't want oil all over my engine bay.

Can thus all be removed ?

Oil is coming from the crankcase breather that recirculates into the plenum. If you go ITB/RS2, you normally vent it (via a catch tank) to atmosphere.

Yeah i am making one of them just now as well. So am i right the aluminium plate just sits on top of the oval pipe?.

Has anyone got any good pictures of there set up?.

focrs - I have one of the coilpack mounting brackets spare
I got it with my Jenvey kit but I'm running the pure motorsport solid top mounts and strut brace and the coil pack hits the strut brace so I'm going to have to mount mine somewhere else

It would bolt straight onto yours as I've filed the edge down slightly to clear the 172 breather :)

If you want it drop me a PM and we can sort something out
