Didnt with mine, sound comes from induction kits rather than ITG panel filters and alike afar as i can remember.

  b/g 182, meg tourer
no difference in sound with my itg pannel filter. seemed to breathe easier tho (air passed through the filter quicker)

  a thirsty one
sound = open filter (no real power gains sucks in hot air)
quite gains = itg
loud gains = maxogen

heard the maxogens on full chat and do sound very touring cars and very nice.

I don't hear it much on here BUT breathing mods do sometimes lead to lean running and lumpy running...dodgey idle etc.

I know a few people having problems with sticking induction kits on and then the car running a dog as there is too much air :p

but i wouldn't expect a panel filter to change sound etc...maybe a metal one...forgot their name!
