Thats not always a good sign, lol.

It was jimmer that kept saying it looked s**t :P

If nothing else at least the bonnet closes properly now :)
 
I think it's worth pointing out to anyone looking at fitting one that if you want it to look right and all the pipes/clips/catches etc swapped over its not a 5 minute job. You do need to take care when adjusting the bonnet on the hinges the catch and stops to get it bang on. Just throwing it on it'll look s**t.

Ktec... and its a proper Carbon bonnet... not a skin, and you can really feel the difference in weight!

Carbon is very strong.. and from talking to other owners theyve not had theirs chip... one of the reasons why i bought it, as this happened to my old one :

When fitting the bonnet catch... you looked up through the hole and you could see daylight through the weave!! was gooooorgeous

Sorry, but I'm not a fan. Extra kudos point if you sprayed it and could see the weave through the paintwork though.

the bonnet was £363

Labour : Sexual favours (he wishes) though i do owe you big time!
 
When I got my CF bonnet it took ages to fit. Its something you just keep working on. Worth it though. Love it. :)
 
The guys were great... i kept saying "oh just stick it on with some tape" haha

Get the front badge done in carbon fibre too ;)
