iTunes not recognising iPhone 4

Installed Snow Leopard yesterday all seems fine everything working.

Plugged my iPhone 4 in and its not showing up in iTunes?

It worked fine just before i installed SL.

Any ideas?

Is it a proper cable?

Plug the iPhone in and then reboot your Mac.

Leave the phone plugged in while in restart you think, or not matter?

iPhoto's opens when I plug it in so the iMac knows its there.

Just not iTunes

iTunes is up to date also.

Gonna check general updates?

What version of iTunes? Latest one?

If iPhoto can see it then it's not the cable. Must be iTunes.

Maz OSX update combined (1.09GB)
Remote desktop client (3.7MB)
iPhone SDK Compatibility update (6KB)

Will do those then re try.

The big one won't work for some reason but that update has sorted it.
