I've raped my 182 in Clay!! - 56k Warning!!!

Well ... As today was an excellent day...

I decided to wash, quick clay and wax

Before Clean ( sorry, not that dirty lol)

Didn't photo it til after I'd Quik clayed it

Then .... After I'd finished.. these are after the wax and tyre clean

All I can say is... If you haven't quick clayed your car yet.... DO IT !!!

The finish is WELL worth the effort and time

Tar remover would be better, clay does lift but it takes some damn hard scrubbing to get it to come off. The result is well worth it though

so what benefit does the clay actually give you then??? as your paint is relatively new.

You get un-moveable dirt all over your car that a standard wash won't remove. The clay removes blemishes and stubborn dirt particles.

4 hours!!!

40 minutes to wash, 2 hours to clay and the rest to wax

What clay did you use? I need to clean my car but i have some hairline scratches that i want to remove so i might polish instead.

I dropped one and cracked it and the other I sold as I didn't have a set plus they were taking up space..

It's ok though, I think I might have got some more

I have a liquid yellow 182.. and it was COVERED in tar when i clay barred it... with plently of the quick detail spray the clay took it off very easily.
