Jammed Up Seat!

Greetings!

My dear Clio has a jammed passenger seat. It's jammed as far foward as it will go and Renault in Norwich quoted £120 for a new seat runner and further £120 to fit it.

I'm not so bothered about getting it done since I travel solo most of the time, but how can I release the seat to get it back as far as it will go?

Little white half-balls seem to have come out of the runners but it just won't budge when I try to move the seat back. Also when I try to pull the seat forwards it's very clicking and buggered sounding lol.

Help!

this has been discussed before im sure...so someone will be along to point you in the right direction...

i would have taken the seat out of the car completely firstly...to get a look at it (4 bolts under the car, and it just lifts out..)

im assuming its the mechanism thats fecked and not just something caught in the runners..?

Ye i think its the mechanism too, poss the runner :S
