JDM-style Rota Slipstream

  E91 M Sport
Got them on today, I'll have some decent pics tomorrow. Amazingly light. Very pleased. Mint conditioned 182 wheels will be for sale soon.

they look really nice imo.

nice to see a bit of JDM style work well where it's not meant to.

good work!

Plain black would be a bit boring.

The polished lip takes a bit of getting used to but I really like it.
They looked really good on the road too.

To answer the questions:

Yes, 16x7" available in ET40 and ET45 they weigh something like 5.8KG per unit.
Cost £380 + del.

Best wheels for the money imo.

JDM wheels on a French car eh..

Look OK thou.

Williams, your Civic looks just like the one they gave away in Banzai magazine.

Thanks for the comments guys...good or bad, its interesting to hear what you think. The 'spoon' style wheels aren't the obvious choice for a French hot hatch in Europe, and I wasn't 100% sure to start off with, but everytime I see the car it just looks better and better! Its the style of wheel that you need to be brave to try (yup, I'm a proper man!;)), but I've felt its paid off :)

agree would have gone for black personally.

I felt that black was a bit on the dull side, not that I'm the king of bling or anything, but the gunmetal and polished rim just works well in my eyes. Having said that, the black suits that yellow civic very well.

Not a big fan of after market alloys......but I like them alot :)

Thanks. I'm not an aftermarket alloy person either, but saving 12kg of unsprung weight makes me wet. Cooler brakes and a slightly wider track are a nice bonus too.

It cool to see something different rather than just Turinis and Super Leggs etc

I think they look superb:approve:

They just snapped in. Although we had to take them out to check the alignment and each cap snapped slightly, so I don't think they're what you would call over-engineered ;)

You what! common as muck;)

OZs in general are popular though.

The 16s look fine to me, more room to lower it:cool:
