Is it me or does this sound like a very good price for a complete kit? I think the only thing outstanding is the throttle pedal setup?

I'd rather buy 2nd hand, only because they don't really wear much and it would save you a lot of money.

But yes, it does seem a good set up, though i don't like the sound of ready mapped ecu - obviously it is a base map but they make it sound like it's ready to go

Ktec DTH kit including ECU is £2220 (for CS members) but that includes everything needed.

What so wrong with ATpowers then Dan! At least they are supplied with a proper filter that actually filters dirt out!

The bodies come off the head at too much of a steep angle meaning the filter space is compromised. The filter supplied with the original kit was piss poor and aloud dirt into the engine and killed it. I believe the problem has been rectified on the newer kits tho.

At the time I didn't have a clue about any of the kits and I would have happily had any of them but now I understand about all the options i'm glad I have the AT's over the DTH kit. When you fit ITB's Dan do you fit the DTH's or the SF's?

Which although nothing like the quality of the actual Jenvey body itself are at least a decent package in terms of having adequate filtration unlike the litter that ktec and the little followers on who resell their products and seemingly don't understand the problems with them sell.

I'd sooner compromise slightly on the quality of the body than on the quality of the filtration, especially on an engine with front facing inlet.

What's so bad about DTH? Other than K-Tecs self destructing air filter

I'm so glad I got Jenveys - the build quality is worth it alone

That kit on ebay is actually a hell of a bargain if it really does come with solid fuel rail etc..
And a base map to get you going

An afternoons work to fit it and £300 in mapping costs - £2300 for an ITB conversion

Phil, there is no fundamental problem with the concept of DTH bodies in principle mate.

I expect if you did enough research you could probably get the DTH ones cheap enough, as they're fairly cheap even with KTAX.
