Finally got around to getting a splitter to help protect the bottom of the bumper. I have a few nasty scrapes on the bumper and didnt want to spend 100+ quid on one from Renault. Bought a 307 splitter from Daz. the other day and heres the results..
Needs adjusting ever so slightly in the last 3 pics but overall pretty impressed. Couldnt do anymore as had a bit on an accident last night trimming one side of the splitter....
BAsically was trimming the side of it and it got a bit stuck at one point, gave it some s**t and it flew through it like a warm knife through butter, my finger was well out of the way but it had sooo much momentum it caught my finger. The gash or flappy skin starts at the bottom of the plaster and almost meet at the top.. made my missus pass out last night showing her the flappy skin . IT f**king hurts like f**k!
Another job was removing the accoustic valve and fitting the CAF.
Undid 2 of the 3 torx holding it on but couldnt get the 3rd so rip the f**ker off
Plonked the feed down where the old one was for now as im only 1 handed for the moment. Only thing I need to know is whether to remove the filter part of the accoustic valve?
Overall a productive few hours this weekend for once
