juddering under braking at 60+?

So, I had some new front tyres fitted yesterday and also lowered the rear of my car slightly more, ive only just noticed this problem but it might well of been happening before any changes where made. Under medium to hard braking at 60+ mph it feels like the rear end is juddering, it also sounds like its coming from the rear and I can feel it through the pedal.

Any ideas?

maybe they didn't balance the wheels properly when they fitted the new tyres.

I'd hazard a guess at pads, discs or shoes, TBH.

I would say pads or shoes, it won't be discs if you cant feel it through the steering wheel. How hard are you on your brakes, if you give your car a bit of enthusiastic driving you could have glazed your pads, or just worn them out pal.

Well it wont be shoes Fronts were changed 2 months ago, rears have been on 2 years but they 'look' ok, just seems random that it started though.

Sorry didn't read what car you had. You can glaze pads in a matter of a few minutes if you give them enough stick. I honestly doubt it will be front discs, if you can't feel anything in the steering wheel. How old are the rear discs? could be the rear disc wheel bearing.

Maybe, the rear discs and pads are about 2 years old, maybe alittle more but have only covered about 10-15k and I only drive hard 40% of the time really. I cant hear the bearing as such as they normally whine like f**k?!

strange you'd feel the rears under braking through the pedal. Could be warped discs, but you'd feel poor brake performance if that was the case. What about rear bearing? Or could something have been knocked when you had wheels put back on?
